Organic Produce Share Program

The 2016 share program is full!
In 2016 we will be running a share program in the summer only. Spaces are limited and we are currently filling spots on a first come first serve basis. We will also be selling produce at the Tulaberry stall at the Baker Street market in Nelson on Wednesdays from June-September.

What’s in the share?
Each week we’ll pack a box of seasonal certified organic produce from our garden, just for you! What you get each week will depend on what’s ready on the farm. In general, each harvest will contain 10-12 items. I will do my best to provide salad mix or lettuce, a leafy green vegetable, a root vegetable, an allium, and fresh herbs every week.

Things you will get most weeks when in season

The Season: The boxes will start at the beginning of July and run for 10 weeks.

Size:  Depending on your eating habits, a regular share will feed a couple or a small family. It will be comparable to spending $30-35 per week at the farmer’s market. If you eat every meal at home and really like vegetables, you might have to supplement by buying (or growing!) some more. Most previous customers reported that a large share was just the right amount to get them through the week.

Some weeks will be more plentiful than others, but we promise that over the season it will balance out to be a great deal for you!

Cost:  A regular share costs $300 ($30 per week for 10 weeks).

Delivery:  I will bring harvested produce into Nelson for pick up on Sunday evenings.  The location is still to be determined (most likely in uphill), and you can come pick up your box at your convenience.
